Xerox printer error codes
- 116-324A software "exception failure", usually caused by a corrupt print job that the printer cannot process.
- 116-321A software processing error inside the printer.
- 116-703A PostScript processing error: the printer could not read the print data it was sent.
- 116-720The print job ran out of printer memory.
- 116-749The job asked for a font the printer does not have.
- 016-910The paper size or type, or the staples, chosen in the print driver are not loaded in the printer.
- 016-426The printer has stopped talking to Xerox servers, so meter reads for billing and automatic supply orders may not go through.
- 016-764Scan to E-mail failed because the printer could not connect to the e-mail (SMTP) server.
- 027-504The e-mail server rejected the scan, usually because the attachment is bigger than allowed.
- 016-503The printer cannot find the e-mail server by name, so it cannot send scans or e-mail.
- 027-452Another device on the network is using the same IP address as the printer.
- 016-982The printer's hard disk is full (016-982), or an e-mail is larger than the limit (016-985).
- 077-900A paper jam in the paper path, usually at the back of the printer.
- 024-950Tray 2 is empty.
- 071-210A paper tray reported a hardware error. 071 is Tray 1, 072 is Tray 2, 073 is Tray 3.
- 047-211A hardware error in the paper output (047-211), the duplex unit (047-214) or the finisher (047-216).
- 062-277The scanner and the document feeder on top lost contact with each other, or the feeder reported a fault.
- 010-320The fuser's heat roll overheated.
- 091-921The printer cannot confirm the black drum cartridge (position R1) is seated correctly.
- 071-101A paper jam at Tray 1.
- 374-100A paper jam in Tray 4.
- 024-910The paper size in Tray 1 does not match the size the printer expects.
- 016-799The print job contains a setting the printer cannot do, such as a paper size, tray, 2-sided or output option it does not support.

- 029-716The printer is set to use a proxy server, but your network does not have one.
- 016-349A device fault: the printer reports a problem with its network MAC address.
- 041-340A device fault: the printer's engine control board (MCU) could not read its memory (NVM).
- 041-353A fuse failure on one of the printer's internal circuits.
- 077-314A device fault in the paper feed control.
- 058-316A general device fault reported by the printer.

- 093-335The printer cannot read the chip (CRUM) on the toner cartridge.
- 092-318The printer's colour calibration could not read its test patch for one colour (092-318 is yellow). Print quality for that colour may drift.

- 117-320The printer's internal storage card (eMMC) failed to start, is unsupported, or cannot be read.
- 117-319The printer could not read program or font data from its internal SD card, which may be corrupted.
- 062-380The scanner lamp is not bright enough during its automatic brightness check.
- 362-476The scanner carriage did not return to its home position.
