Xerox error 09-597-00
A toner control system failure: the printer cannot keep the right amount of toner in the system.
Seen on: AltaLink B8045/B8055/B8065/B8075/B8090. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Check the supply levels on the printer.
- If the toner is empty, install a new toner cartridge.
- Replace the print (drum) cartridge if the fault stays.
- Turn the printer off, wait about two minutes, and turn it on.
Is it worth fixing?
Most often an empty toner or a worn drum. Contact support if both are new.
