Xerox error 077-900
A paper jam in the paper path, usually at the back of the printer.
Seen on: WorkCentre 6027 and other small Phaser and WorkCentre models. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Pull out the paper tray.
- Open the rear door and lift the green levers to release the jammed sheet.
- Pull the paper out slowly and check for torn scraps.
- Close everything, then turn the printer off, wait about 45 seconds, and turn it back on.
Is it worth fixing?
Fixable at home. Repeated jams point to worn rollers or damp paper.
