Xerox error 041-340
A device fault: the printer's engine control board (MCU) could not read its memory (NVM).
Seen on: WorkCentre 6515. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off, wait 10 seconds, and turn it on.
- If the fault returns, contact Xerox support.
Is it worth fixing?
A restart clears one-off cases. Repeats need a technician.
