Xerox error 062-380
The scanner lamp is not bright enough during its automatic brightness check.
Seen on: VersaLink C400 and C405. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off and on.
- Clean the scanner glass and the white strip under the lid.
- If it returns, contact Xerox support: the scanner lamp or unit needs service.
Is it worth fixing?
Printing still works. Scanning and copying need a technician if it repeats.
