Xerox error 099-395
The fuser motor is drawing the wrong current.
Seen on: VersaLink C8000, C8000W and C9000. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off and on with the Power button.
- If it returns: power off with the control panel and the main switch, unplug, and wait about 40 minutes for the fuser to cool.
- Open Door A, release the three fuser latches, pull the fuser straight out by its handles, then push it back until it clicks and lock the latch.
- Close the door, plug in, and turn on.
Is it worth fixing?
Reseating the fuser often fixes it. If not, it is a service call.
