Xerox error 31.60C
The printer cannot detect the imaging unit.
Seen on: Xerox B225 and B235. The same code can mean something else on other models.
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off and on.
- Open the front door and take out the toner and imaging unit.
- Separate the toner from the imaging unit and check both for packing material, debris or damage.
- Put them back together, reinstall, and close the door.
- Still failing: replace the toner, then the imaging unit. Use genuine Xerox supplies.
Is it worth fixing?
Usually packing material or a bad seat. Otherwise a new imaging unit.
