Canon error 1403
The print head is not installed correctly, is the wrong type, or is failing.
How to fix it
- Turn the printer off and reseat the print head, locking the lever firmly.
- Check that the print head model matches your printer model.
- Clean the contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth and try again.
Is it worth fixing?
If it persists, the print head has failed. Compare the cost of a new head with a new printer before buying.
