Brother error Drum Error
The corona wire inside the drum unit is dirty.
How to fix it
- Open the front cover and pull out the drum and toner assembly.
- Find the green tab on the drum unit.
- Slide the green tab gently from left to right and back several times.
- Return the tab to its home position (marked with an arrow) and reinstall the drum.

Fixed this way almost every time.
