Epson error Parts near end of service life
The waste ink pads inside the printer are almost full. Epson counts every cleaning and stops the printer when the counter reaches its limit.
How to fix it
- Press OK to keep printing: this message is a warning, not a stop.
- If your model has a replaceable maintenance box, buy one for your model number and swap it in.
- If it does not, contact Epson or a repair shop to replace the pads and reset the counter.
- Avoid running head cleanings unless print quality is bad.
Is it worth fixing?
Models with a maintenance box are a cheap fix. Older models without one usually need a paid service that rarely makes sense on a cheap printer.
